how to make ar cheats

I've been using action replay codes for awhile now and one day (which is today) I decided to make one but sadly I don't know how. I've tryed everything videos tutorials that don't work at all and nothing worked at all so I made this post. Newgrounders help me!

see what you do is throw away the action replay and do something productive instead.

well, what game are you playing with the AR?
if it's pokemon diamond or whatever, you could use pokesav.
well I'm just trying to find out period but in particular advance wars days of ruin.
